When you use Verto to scan and translate documents, the content of those documents may be processed on our servers. We handle this data with special care:

Documents processed in offline mode never leave your device
Documents processed via cloud translation are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
Cloud-processed documents are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour of processing
We do not use your document content to train AI models
We do not sell, share, or otherwise distribute your document content to third parties

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
To process your translations and deliver results
To manage your account and subscription
To send service-related communications (e.g., updates, security alerts)
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

Service providers: Cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, and customer support tools that assist in operating the Service

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage data is retained for up to 24 months. Document content processed via the cloud is deleted within 1 hour. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
